Now, since I gave you guys a not-so-yummy recipe, I thought I would give yall two fun ones in return! Fair trade, yes? This past weekend Bret and I had some friends over to watch them good ole Dallas Cowboys take down the Eagles in the playoff game. What, What! So me, wanting to play little hostess decided to whip up some snack foods for everyone. And since I made them, you KNOW they are easy!
Baby Pizzas
*I am sure we all have our own version of this*
1 pkg English Muffins
1 jar Pizza Sauce
Mozarella Cheese
Pepperoni (or whatever topping)
Cut English Muffins in half - Lay back side down on baking sheet.
Spread pizza sauce over each half, sprinkle on cheese.
Lay down 3-4 pepperoni's on each pizza and sprinkle again with cheese.
Bake on 350 till muffins are toasted and cheese is melted.
I served mine with Ranch Dressing and Thousand Island is always a good one too!
Ham and Cheese Crescent Sandwiches
*From Pillsbury Website*
1 can Pillsbury refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
8 (or more) thin slices of cooked ham
4 (or more) thin slices of cheddar chees cut into strips
I am saying more because I like fat sandwiches. Personal choice.
Heat oven to 350.
Sepearte dough into 8 triangles.
Place slice of ham on each triangle with two strips of cheese running down the center of the ham.
Fold in edges of ham to match the shape of the triangle.
Roll up each crescent, ending at tip of triangle.
Place with tips down on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 15 - 19 minutes or until golden brown.
Immediately remove from cookie sheet and serve warm.
Mine did not turn out uber pretty - And by that I mean cheese was everywhere but boy were they tasty!!
And just a side note, I made queso as well to go along with our other snacks - Queso is a football staple in our house! Very basic of course, ground beef with taco seasoning, velveeta and rotel all thrown in the crock-pot! Yummy! And NO my loves. These are not fat-free recipes by any means. Nor should they be. It's football we are talking about girls! Rah!
