The scene this morning is a little chill but there is an interesting back story for sure. There is absolutely no doubt that Bret and I are at a very interesting hotel. Interesting and silly. So we are staying at the Best Western in big ole San Angelo. When we arrived yesterday to check in the front desk clerk was... well, different. She said our room wasn't available yet but there was a clean room on the 2nd floor that she could place us in. We said that was fine and she proceeded to get very excited because she was giving us "the good room" - Curious about what makes for a good room? Apparently a leather chair... the only leather chair at the entire motel. Oh yay!
Looky looky - a leather chair. Yay! haha - anyways, the clerk asked Bret to scan his card and made some comment about "oh, you know how to use all that technology stuff" which sparked a conversation about how "old people" don't like technology. I made a comment about not much longer and they won't be around to worry about the technology (mean, I know) and she went into some kind of story about how there are a lot of celebrities reaching 100 and will be passing on soon, ha. So very random. We were then informed of the continental breakfast in the morning, that she seemed very thrilled to tell us about, and we went on our way. Well this morning bright and early I went down to get some coffee and food and EIK! post-it notes on things with directions on how to make your own waffles, packaged sausage biscuits and egg patties.... no thank you! So... since our good leather chair couldn't produce food, we decided to mosey next door for breakfast. This brings me to my Saturday morning scene:
Oh the joys of coffee!
I am now sitting in the hotel room, watching double jeopardy, and listening to the rain. Yes, RAIN! In Texas! If only if would head to College Station!

And send some rain our way! :)

Sounds like a 'unique' type of place!
