Happy Wednesday you guys! The week is all down hill from here meaning... WE MADE IT! at least that is how I like to look at Wednesdays :)
I have been pretty busy lately with work and school but this past weekend on my trip to and from longview I decided to download a book on tape since I was flying solo to get in some much needed "reading" time. This is what I chose:
A good ole chick-lit book that I knew Bret wouldn't want to listen to and that I wouldn't have time to actually read until after next May! Anyways, I am almost done (so don't spoil the end if you have finished it already) and so far I am liking the book. Easy listen, a little depressing at times but I have a feeling the end will bring it all home for me!
THEN, for the first time it feels like in FOR-EV-ER, I went and saw a movie last night with Bret and my girlfriend Cassie - We decided to see:
Cute, cute, cute, funny, and cute. I truly adore Emma Stone, I love her hair color, and the movie was nice because it really did have a great message at the end. Although, I read the CRAZIEST review yesterday about it that was soooo off the wall I thought the movie was going to be soooo much worse than what it was (sexually explicit that is). But I thought it was good and I would totally suggest it! Sunday, Andrea will be taking me to see You Again while I am recovering from surgery - Two movies in one week! Sheesh! Loving it!
Well my blogging buddies, I had my pre-admission into the hospital today (blood work and all - blah) and now I am officially ready (prepared that is) for my surgery tomorrow! Tonight I have to drink practically my weight in water up till midnight then no more food or drink. Avoid dairy, OJ, all things red and purple, shower in the morning and then be at the hospital at 7:20am and on the table at 8:30. AH! I am excited and nervous and anxious for tomorrow morning to get here. Thank you guys so much for all yalls support, comments, and emails that have come in - It's so nice hearing it all! Even you guys who do not approve, I like getting yalls feedback too because you all bring up good points and makes me happy to know I have already thought and planned for all the negatives yall have thrown my direction. I've got this in the bag!
Stay tuned for pre and post surgery pictures (probably pretty gross looking) and the stories that follow!
