Thankful Thursday

Everytime I begin to ask myself "What am I thankful for today?" I always think - I am thankful that tomorrow is FRIDAY! Is there something wrong with this? This always bothers me just a tad because I always think "STOP! You are wishing your life away!"  Oh well.  Give me something entertaining to do at work and I won't wish for the weekend!
CHEESE
CHEESE is what I type when I am giving a really big smile - FYI

On this day, October 1st, 2009, I am thankful for:

eins:  being Kelsey's friend pimp

zwei:  running 3.5 miles outside yesterday AFTER doing death Shred with Jillian Micahels

drei:  i have made it to October so I can officially put out my fall decorations this weekend and put out Halloween candy. love.

vier:  my 5k is this Saturday and I am thankful for the progress I have made since March

fünf:  when I asked Bret "I am thankful Nannie just turned 75 yesterday."

sechs: my coffee that I am drinking. Foldgers breakfast blend with cinnamon, lite creamer and sweet-n-low

sieben:  I can look up German numbers on google and trust that they are correct.  side note: Bret took German in college rather than the usual Spanish that most Texas take hence why I am counting in German today.

acht:  both of my parents have been doing an amazing job working out daily.  I am very thankful that they care enough about their health to work out so they are around for when I have kids

neun:  one of my group projects for school was turned in yesterday with out any hiccups. thank you God.

zehn:  all of my BBs.  I wish we all lived close because I believe we might actually all get along really well.

elf:  that 'eleven' in German is 'elf.' that's a hoot.

zwölf:  that for some reason, people think that I am funny.  I have always wanted to be funny but I have never thought that I could pull it off.  I am thankful that there are indeed people out there who laugh at with me.

dreizehn:  I just quoted Jillian Michaels in an email to my mom and I am thankful I knew that it was one of the geekiest things I have ever done and I called myself out on it.

vierzehn:  I am very thankful that God answers prayers.  We had a scare this past week in my family and I am happy to say after many thoughts and prayers, everything is perfect.

fünfzehn:  I am thankful that this is a good stopping point because 'fifteen' in German has the word 'fun' mixed in with some crazy letters - on that note, I am thankful my sister-in-love thinks of me enough to send me this:

Happy October everyone!
Here's to a fantatstic month!

On yes, and one to grow on:
Please remember that October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
There are world-wide events happening all month long.  If you are able, please get invovled and try to remember all the friends, family members and loved ones out there who have survived or passed away due to breast cancer.

That being said, I am thankful that tomorrow, October 2nd is (a. my brother Aaron's birthday),
but B. Lee National Denim Day.  If you would like to participate you can find a team near you, in your state, wherever and donate money to help fight Breast Cancer.  With enough help and enough support, Denim Day's "one day, one cause, one cure" can make a difference!
