- Left College Station to head to Corpus Christi after work
- Got to the beach house around 10:00pm full on McDonald's "chicken" nuggets
- Visited with my parentals
- Hit the hay!
- Woke up bright and early because B and I forgot to close the blinds in our bedroom (doh!)
Bright, Bright sun at 7:30am

- Went for a 30 minute run outside in the most humid coastal air possible
- Ate a yummy breakfast of homemade taquitos
- Packed up and spent the day at the beach with my parents - perfect weather
- Went home, showered, changed and headed into Port Aransas for dinner and live music at the Back Porch
- Went back to Corpus, read a little, watched some Shark Week and CRASHED.

Mom and I had super fun boogy-boarding. Even AFTER watching Shark Week I decided to brave the water (eik). Daddy told me no fear though. He said I would know if a shark was getting close because I would hear the music (duh duh).

- Slept till 9:30am (wow!) then had yummy egg sandwiches for breakfast
- Got ready and headed to Port A again for some shopping
- Had a great lunch at Moby Dick's and hung out at the bar with mom and dad and our new friends we met
- Headed back to Corpus where we got to spend the evening with my sister and her family.
- Crashed/Passed out

- Woke up bright and early and went for a 30 minute run on the beach - absolutely wonderful.
- Played in the pool with Benjamin and Julia and did a little clowning around
- Got showered and packed up
- Stopped at a gift shop with B to get a magnet for our travel collection where I got attacked by a shark
- Headed to College Station
- Watched recorded Shark Week, True Blood, read some, CRASHED!

I am reading quite a few books right now so I thought I would share with you.

2) Suzanne's Diary for Nicholas - My mom read this book in one day (Friday, beach day) and then passed it over to me to read. I am a little over half way done and I am loving this book. It is a James Patterson book which is my 2nd one to read (yes, ever) and I am quickly deciding that I really like his writing. So far this is a very easy read and I haven't wanted to put it down! I cannot wait to get to the ending to see what happens!

3) Debutante Divorcee - This is a super fun chick lit book that I am listening to on my IPod right now for the 3rd time. I really enjoy Plum Sykes because I think she is hilarious. I work out to audio books (yes, geek, I know) and this is such an easy listen that it makes my work outs go by super fast! If you are into chick lit books that require no thought, only laughter, check out Plum Sykes. She also wrote Bergdorf Blondes which is equally amusing.

4) Guardian of Lies - This is the book B and I downloaded onto the IPod for our trip. We just cannot survive car rides without audio books. true story. So far this book is very good. It is a murder mystery revolved around Colombian Russian ex-military bad people. Something like that, lol. Only down fall, SUPER long. It took us 4 1/2 hours to get too and from Corpus and we still have 6 hours left to listen to of the book! Geez! But again, I am ready to get to the end because something crazy is going to go down, I can feel it!

5) Dead to the World - I am about half way done now with Sookie Stackhouse's 4th book. This is the one I keep on my Kindle and read at work when I have down time. I am loving it, as I love all the other ones and I swear I adore Vampire Eric more and more! If I were going to have a vampire, I choose him. Hands down. The only down fall with reading these books is if you watch True Blood on HBO. The books and the TV show are super different in a LOT of ways but both equally addicting.

All great books - If you are looking for a new cook book or something interesting to read I recommend you looking into these.
Have a great day everyone!
