This past weekend was the start of many free weekends for Bret Lee and myself! It was a little odd not having to do something or not knowing we had to travel somewhere!
Friday night we did nothing. By nothing I mean nothing at all. I got my hair cut, came home, worked out and then we vegged out the rest of the evening. Saturday was particularly exciting because A) our dear friend Kayla was in town so we got to meet her for lunch and B) I, for the first time in my life ever, got to try on and buy SKI CLOTHES!! We have a ski trip coming up in February with a large group of friends and I am ready now! Well, minus the part of knowing how to ski but, whatever. Bret got a new ski jacket as well so that was all very fun! Sunday was grocery shopping day and I headed off to Kirklands to buy new stuff for the apartment - These tasks were all done before 2pm so the rest of the afternoon was spent, once again, vegging out!
Don't you just love lazy weekends? We are enjoying them while we last, that's for sure!
