Our little nugget is three months old today!
I cannot believe how quickly time goes by. They say it flies when you're having fun. I have indeed been having a wonderful time with my precious baby girl. I adore motherhood very much and watching Brooklyn grow and develop and get smarter everyday is ridiculously silly and great!
a few brooklyn facts
Weight
11lbs 15oz
Current Achievements
Lifting her head up and holding there for a while - She has the strongest little neck!
(FYI for the mommies out there, my doctor believe B's neck is so strong because of the working out I did during my entire pregnancy. Brooklyn came out holding her head up!)
A pro at reaching out and grabbing toys and putting them in her mouth. She has reached that age where she discovers the world around her by putting everything within reach in her mouth. Hope it tastes good!
Watching TV! Brooklyn can see farther away now and with large TVs all around the place she is getting to see so many bright colors and smiling faces on the tube.
Grubbing Down
Growing girl is taking about 5oz every 3 hours
Her favorite bottles are her PINK Phillips Avent Bottles and her Dr. Brown's'
she has some Tommee Tippee bottles but she seems to suck those too hard and the nipple collapses in on her
wow. that's a sentence i never thought I could type while keeping a straight face
Enjoying a little Gerber Rice in her bottle at night
(slowly getting her system use to the change in texture)
Oh yes, and then there is her hand. Probably her favorite food/chew toy of all time!
Favorite Toys
(we affectionately call him Lenny)
Doctor Report
baby girl has her first ear infection right now but man she is a trooper! her little right eye has that yucky yellow goop coming out but the doctor said it's normal with the ear infection and the congestion. to me though, the best part of the ear infection (if there must be a silver lining) is the yummy meds I, I mean she, gets to take!
It's the pink stuff!
THE PINK STUFF!!
I may be sneaking a few finger dips from when Brooklyn spills some... just saying.
clothes, clothes, clothes
I feel bad for Brooklyn sometimes because I really don't go all out dressing her up. Don't get me wrong, she gets the cute stuff but I haven't forced bows on her just yet when she is laying around. Instead, while she is around the house her favorite outfits are the Sleep N Play onesies!
I don't think I could have enough of these for little B. They are amazing for her lazy days. She isn't having to fight with shirts and pants and I have easy access to her diapers thanks to snaps and zippers. They are perfect!
Her other favorite clothing item is no other than her trusty diapers.
Our little one very much enjoys being naked and laying around in her diaper. I like her diapers very much because when they are wet there is a little yellow line that turns blue. This is the MOST convenient thing I have ever seen. Whoever invented this little line is one of my favorite people of all times.
New Digs
with us moving to an apartment temporarily we have had to leave some furniture behind. to give Brooklyn a little more room I revamped an old bookshelf for her and invested a well spent $6 at the dollar store on some baskets.

Sweet baby girl! I have some of the things she likes on our registry, so maybe my baby girl will like them too : )
