houstonian? houstonite?

We did it! We made the move! It was beYOND an emotional weekend. Heck, it has been an emotional two weeks to be honest. Having only two weeks to wrap up 10 years of memories is no where near long enough. But, ya know, we made it work and here I sit in my temporary apartment looking at boxes beyond boxes. While life may be a little crazy for a bit, it will be a crazy good life.

As a way to say goodbye to college station, me and Bret stopped and took a picture at the bench where we got engaged. Strangely, it is our only picture on this bench!

Better late than never to get a picture!

One other very important picture we stopped to take while wrapping up our last day in College Station was a recreation of this picture took in October 1985 when I was 2 months old.

That is the age I was when my family left College Station the first time around. Ironically, that is how old Brooklyn is now. Life has come full circle.
