Good morning everyone! My post will be short and brief and I apologize but I am trying to get some school work done plus I am about to jump on a call for work. I also apologize for my lack of commenting on yalls blogs. I have been catching up this morning and I have loved reading about surprise birthday parties, new puppies, summer fun, bar review and a big anniversary, but with my lack of time and rushed reading I just didn't have time to comment - I love you all though and I enjoy reading!

This weekend flew by and Bret and I spent our time in good ole Springtown, Texas with the Mathis clan. Friday Bret Lee and I headed out of town after work. When we got into Fort Worth we met up with some of his old high school buddies for some drinks then headed on to the family house. Bret and I stayed up till 2:00am with his parents talking, eating birthday cake and playing Wii Fit - it was a total blast!

Saturday I got up bright and early and went for a run around the neighborhood. It was a nice change because the entire neighborhood is completely flat! I am use to ours which is hill after hill or the treadmill which I keep on an incline! I felt like that was the easiest run of my life and I loved every lazy second! Afterwards I went with Mom #2 to the store where I got hit on by the sacker at Brookshires! It was completely hilarious and my MIL and I got a huge kick out of it. She cooked a big, yummy breakfast for everyone and then the rest of the morning and afternoon was spent doing what? You guessed it, playing Wii! Good thing we are not addicts or anything ;) Around 2:30pm we got the blender started and Mallory and I made everyone margaritas to kick off her 21st birthday celebration. WOO HOO! Our family and Rusty, Mal's bf, family all met at Uncle Julio's for a yummy Mexican food birthday dinner then cake, karaoke, pina coladas and a came of spoons followed at the Mathis household. It was a lot of fun and I enjoyed sharing Mallory's 21st birthday with her.

Sunday we all got up and went to church then headed to Uncle Kelly's house for Darrell's 50th birthday BBQ. There was a ton of food (hot dogs, hamburgers, ribs, BBQ chicken, brisket, cake, chips, etc) and all the family was there so it was a good afternoon. Bret and I sadly had to head out of town to get back to College Station but we very much enjoyed our time in Springtown. It gets hard sometime living a far drive from Bret's and my own parents but we are blessed enough to at least be in the same state. Once at home I played Wii Fit for a bit, we watched Mall Cop (stupid but funny) and an episode of Band of Brothers then hit the hay. Busy, busy and we were tired!
This week so far has started off good. Yesterday was work as usual. I got 2 of my 3 assignments done for school for the week and last night we went to the grocery store, worked out, cooked dinner and watched some more Band of Brothers. Tonight I am having to host part 2 of Mary Kay hell. I am a little ticked with the whole thing at the moment because the 4 girls that were coming over and myself had all planned on having some wine with our makeovers to make it more relaxing and enjoyable. But no, I was told no alcohol allowed with Mary Kay. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! It is MY house. I am hosting this event, ME. How on earth can somebody tell me what I can and canNOT have at my own house. Whatever. I hate Mary Kay. I have already informed Mary Kay girl that this will be the end of me helping her out. No more hosting, no more Mary Kay. Peace Out. ::sigh:: I didn't need wine by any means to have fun and now I do. I will let you all know how it goes tomorrow... if it is anything like last time, it should be... interesting.

So far today I went to the gym this morning, ate some yummy rice krispies, edited a paper for school, jumped on a call for work and now about to get on my 2nd call for the day! I hope you guys are having a great week so far, Becca, I cannot wait to see more pictures of Bella she really is completely precious - Take her running with you!

OMG - I had a totally similar experience with a MK girl. I was trying to "help her out" and ended up feeling used and bitter. This is why MK has a bad rap. Total pyramid scheme. And crappy makeup. BTW - I totally had wine at my party. I say go for it.
