an unexpected visitor

Last night while Bret and I were watching Lie to Me (One of my new favorite shows by the way) Bret and I got an unexpected visitor! All of a sudden I hear this SMACK and a bird has hit our windows in the living room and is now perched on the window seal! It completely took me by shock because never has a bird come up on our porch! I ran and grabbed my camera to take a picture or two and as soon as I was done Bret slapped the window to scare the birdy away :( He said he would make a mess on our porch but I don't think so. I believe he just wanted some new friends - I would have been his friend! (But Bret, not so much)


I am thinking he knows I will be his friend so he will come back next week while Bret is out of town. I will be the bird whisperer.
