Sometimes I think there are more that 1 Monday in a week...

Today has been a day, let me tell you! Nothing serious has happened but it just seems like it could be a Monday. The main problem for the day = My Computer. My office has recently switched from the user friendly Outlook email system to YOU SUCK Lotus Notes. UGH! I had to restart my computer eight, count them, eight times this morning. Eight times all before 11:30am. My email wasn't pulling up, computer would randomly freeze, I could not open any programs - it was a complete nightmare and I could not get a single person to help me. Since I have gotten back from lunch I have only had to restart my computer one time and, for the moment, I am able to pull up my emails so I am making progress slowly but surely. I HATE TECHNOLOGY. And to tell you the truth, I believe it hates me too. This computer is going to lead me to alcohol.

The other thing for today, so far, wasn't too bad. More funny than anything else. Did anybody know that eating a grapefruit like an orange is just really not a possibility. Last night I remembered I had two grapefruits in the fridge that I needed to eat before they went bad. So, last night thinking it would be easier to eat my grapefruit this morning while getting ready for work if it was peeled like an orange, I peeled in and placed it back in the fridge. Well, this morning when I went to split the grapefruit open into pieces to put on a plate it practically exploded all over the place! Now, growing up I always ate grapefruit by cutting it in half and spooning out the fruit. I just thought I ate it like that because that was how I was taught. No, no no Katie - You ate it like that because there is no other way! So, instead of eating my grapefruit this morning simplistically like an orange, I spent a good ten minutes eating the fruit over the kitchen sink while it went all over the place. I was literally covered in grapefruit from my elbows down. If anybody had seen me they would have probably thrown up because I know it was disgusting looking. Needless to say, I had a grapefruit bath this morning after my perfectly good shower. ::sigh::
