My cup runneth over

Well it is official - this has been the best Tuesday of my life so far. Let me recap for you:

A) Wild flowers are starting to appear around College Station. I love this time of year because bluebonnets are everywhere! You just don't get those in east Texas unless somebody purposely planted them - that just isn't the same. But, not only are the bluebonnets out, but so are the Indian Paint Brushes and those are my absolute FAVORITE. Love it.

B) I saw my first Dogwood Tree in College Station EVER. I always look forward to Easter time because in Longview by my parents house there are always a ton of Dogwood trees out in the woods - NOT in College Station, at all. But, out by our apartment I spotted one!! It's out there all by it's lonesome but I have faith that next year there will be two!

C) I got accepted into Texas A&M Graduate School today!!! YEAH! I had given up hope by low and behold, I got word that I was accepted into the [prepare for mouthful] Department of Educational Administration and Human Resource Development. YEAH! So, I have my New Student Orientation Friday, April 3rd and then I will begin in the Fall. I am super excited!! To celebrate Bret has decided to cook steaks tonight so I am really pumped about that as well - I heart steak. (and my husband and TAMU!!!)

And just think, it is only 1:35pm. Who knows what else this day will bring!
