The basic run down:
FRIDAY
- I got home from work and went to the gym where I ran 3 miles
- Ate dinner
- Started reading One Fifth Avenue
- Went to bed
SATURDAY
- Bret had to work from home but forgot his power cord for his laptop at work - Since he was jumping on a call, I was a good wife and went and got the power cord for him from work
- Bret made us Cinnamon Toast - YUM
- A Heroes marathon was on G4 (a channel which I have never noticed in my life) so Bret and I sat around and watched that all day while he worked.
- I read One Fifth Avenue some more
- I went and picked Bret and I up lunch from Koppe Bridge, I was playing good wife again
- About 3:00pm Bret was done working so we went to Blockbuster to exchange some movies, Barnes & Nobles to buy me Eat This Not That, went to Sonic and got drinks (Yeah for Root beer Floats!) Academy and Gander Mtn. to look for last minute ski stuff which we did not find and then went home. Just a few errands to break up our day.
- Bret watched Gods and Generals while I read One Fifth Avenue
- Went to bed
Bored with Bret and I yet?!
SUNDAY
- I got up and made Bret and I eggs and toast - Fancy me
- I went and ran at the gym
- I went to the mall and got some new things from Express including a pair of skinny jeans that I am IN LOVE WITH!
- Went to HEB and fought through the largest crowd of people I have ever seen in my life - That trip to HEB was almost the death of several people's toes!
- Got home, made 7 layer dip
- Ate some Sushi
- Finished One Fifth Avenue
- Bret and I went to Jennifer and Robert's for a Super Bowl party
- Came home and went to bed!
S0 - that is a pretty sad sounding weekend but I enjoyed every minute of it! Bret and I, well me really, are about to have several busy weekends coming up in a row. This coming Friday we leave for Colorado with all our buddies (YEAH!!), the next weekend we come back from Colorado (BOO!!) - Both are 16 hours in a car. The following weekend I am heading to Longview for a baby shower, the next weekend I am helping to throw a baby shower, the next weekend I am running in my 5k! WHEW! Bring on the fun and games!
