More silverware to go with mine and Bret's Fiestaware. I am so very proud of the collection I have going - New and old pieces a like. With our silverware we have blue, green red, purple, yellow and now... I have bought orange! (Tangerine if you would like to get technical!) I am very excited for them to come in. Our cabinets and silverware drawers and just a crazy array of color. I love it all!

Next we have new books and DVDs! I really love shopping at Barnes & Nobles and I love it even more online. They always seem to have such great deals online and free shipping is always a plus. So, while browsing through the sale area I found two books that seemed interesting enough. The first is I'm Proud of You which, as you can see, is a book about a friendship that developed between Tim and Fred Rogers (aka, the infamous Mr. Rogers "it's a beautiful day in the neighborhood" Mr. Rogers). It is suppose to have the same feel as The Five People You Meet in Heaven so I am sure it will be great. But, if not, it was like $3 so, oh well!
Next from Barnes & Nobles is a cook book - That is right, Katie Mathis bought a cook book! [insert shocked sound here] I do not know if it is going to be anything worth while but the concept sounded pretty interesting. Basically, for all the random things I have sitting around in my pantry, I just MIGHT be able to make a meal out of them! This book might not be useful at all to me but, I am going to think positive and who knows, I might find Bret's next favorite meal in here!
I also was able to get Seinfeld Season 1 from Barnes & Nobles - That is what I love about BN.com. Not only do they have so many books but they also have this great collection of DVDs for cheap! But, Bret and I wanted to start collecting the seasons so I thought I would go a head and get us started with Season 1. I am really excited to get it in so we can start watching them back to back. It is always so much nicer watching TV shows on DVD - I get so spoiled with the whole no commercial thing!

Last but not least, I bought some Floral Salad Servers! A) I will probably never use them but B) they are going to look great in my kitchen! They are so pretty and festive and when I saw them I feel in love with them!

hey babe! i know...i'm a terrible person for lurking from within. i just had to send my love on the marathon....as we would say in middle school, YOU GO GIRL! and just to let you know, i have a complete collection of the original fiestaware i'm so so proud of and love! i have an assortment of the original yellow, green, and brown ( not the new coco). it's awesome and i love love love it. truth be told kat, i buy EVERYTHING online. all of my house is potterybarn and anthropologie which i'm so proud ( and so so can't afford) to say that everything i got was on sale (because you get better offers thru online sales). as far as clothes girl.....EVERYTHING in my closet i got off ebay new with tags for a fraction of the price. i just go to nordstrom (my fave) or whatever dept. store you like really, and try on everything to make sure i like what fits and then boom, i buy them on ebay for half the price. all my true religions, sevens, duvet covers, fabrics, you name it girl. just some thoughts......don't exile clothing just yet. love you!
