thankful thursday

caffeine. i am very thankful for caffeine. yes it is destroying my organs or something but i don't care. a lot of times it gets me through the day and i am ok with that.

i am thankful for my current place of employment. i know i will be leaving there in less than two weeks to move to houston but that doesn't make me any less thankful. if anybody has ever had an experience with a hospice, bless you. i hope you had an amazing experience because hospice (well, at least the non-profit i work for) is an amazing place to work. i feel so proud and honored to have been a part of an organization that makes a difference in our community. i can only pray my next job will give me the same feeling.

i am actually really thankful for the cold weather. i hate to be hot. hate it. warm is good, hot drives me crazy. (for those who do not know, pregnancy = 9 months of burning up). therefore, i will take the 32 degrees in texas when nobody else wants it. that is fine with me. and i still haven't gotten a single coat out of the closet while others are wearing parkas and mittens and scarfs. nope. i am in short dresses, no tights, and loving every minute of it.

thankful, thankful, THANKFUL that very soon me, my hubs, little B, and the pups will all be under the same roof on a permanent basis. should be nice. plus, i think brooklyn and the pups will be very happy to see their daddy all the time.

tattoos. i am thankful for tattoos. i think they are beautiful works of art (well, at least they all try to be) and i enjoy looking at them. they make me smile.

the show GIRLS. just started watching it this week and i can see why the buzz. a little crude and definitely not something i would want brooklyn to watch anytime soon but it is very poetic in its own way. i like. thank you hbo for making me happy once again.

i am thankful for my cleaning lady. i hate dusting. i really hate dusting. therefore i am thankful i have somebody i can pay to dust my house. ugh i hate dusting. and cleaning hardwood floors. hate that one too. thank you cleaning lady! or whatever the pc term is. thankful.
