let's try this again, shall we?

I have come to the conclusion that every time I think I am going to be a good blogger I always end up falling very short - Oops! Which is so very tragic because I use to love blogging and reading what everybody has to say! So here I go again - I am going to make an effort once more!

Some tidbits of what's been happening in good ole College Station:

• Bret and I got another puppy to add to our little family: Zamp Cooper! He is a miniature schnauzer and he is a handful! His big sis, June Piper, our little schnoodle adores him!

• My sister-in-love, Mallory, is expecting her first child at the end of August! We are all very excited for her and her husband, Rusty.

• Bret got an amazing job in Houston so he is commuting back and forth during the week and then is home with me and the pups on the weekend. He is loving what he does so I could not ask for anything better for him!
• We got to ring in the new year with an amazing wedding but sadly, my brand new and most favorite camera ever got stollen there! So this is the ONLY picture I have - bummer!

• I gave up Facebook and fried foods for lent this year - AH!
• I sit for my PHR Certification in May - It's been a fun process studying for that one (makes me realize how much I miss grad school)

• I got another paper accepted into the Academy of Human Resource Development Conference in the America's this year - Title: Problems of Exclusion: Transgender Identity and Human Resource Development

Ummm.... That's about it for now! With Bret working in Houston during the week I am DETERMINED to blog more since I will have more free time sooooo, I WILL BE BACK!!
