holy ba-geez!!

my.good.gosh... It has been over a MONTH since I have even looked at my blog! So sorry, so sorry... My life is well... busy! I am here, I promise - I am here and I am healthy and life is good.  How are all of you guys?! By beautiful blogging buddies.. Wow I have missed you guys! Babies are getting big, lovelies are getting married, life is moving forward at a rapid pace and I think I forgot to fasten my seat belt! AH!

Instead of giving you all the full narrative of my life for the past month I will try to break it down some:

i have become a freelance writer for Flair! magazine here in the bryan/college station area
my first article will come out in the Winter edition - yay!

i have become a part-time personal trainer with BCSFitness
last night was my first time alone with the class and it was so much fun!!

i am getting a boob job.
yes, you read that right and yes, i know most people will not support this
BUT, it's for me and I am excited!
come September 30th this girl will have some enhanced features
for the record I am an A now and going to a C
(NOT crazy EE or anything!)

i have started my last year of grad school - yay!
i say yay although when it is over i know i am going to miss all the learning

i am still running which i do actually update on my little run tracker
i am at least updating something!

i just submitted a paper that a professor of mine co-authored with me to be considered for the AHRD 2011 conference in Chicago
if selected then it will be published and we will get to present it to HR Professionals
nervous, nervous, nervous

i am officially 25 now
i took it a little hard so i am just not thinking about it - ha

it's football season
F.I.N.A.L.L.Y.

bret and i had a house warming party that was too.much.fun!
it was a hotdog and cupcake themed event
my two favorite foods
oh yes, it was also, kind of, but not really, my 25th birthday party as well
shhhh

mine and bret's new niece, Carli Mathis, was born

our cousin hannah just started her freshman year at A&M
WHOOP!
and just pledged DZ so we are very excited for her

So... yah - That is pretty much everything that has been going on with us.  I will try to get some pictures posted soon so you can put images to all my craziness! We shall see how that turns out - HA!

I hope you guys wrapped up your summer in style and are as ready for the fall weather as I am!
xx

I was wondering about you! Congrats on everything. looks like you are keeping busy and happy! I'm getting a boob job too, but after I have my kids and I'm going smaller. I totally support this decision!

will you ever have kids? Will you want to nurse? You may say no right now...but, when you see that sweet face you might want too! Just make sure to do the research beforehand on nursing and boob jobs :) My sisters both had breast reductions actually and both cannot breastfeed and both regret it bc they didnt realize how hard it would be to not be able to do something so natural. JUST a thought. But by all means, go get 'em girl ;) Glad you're back!

I have missed you so much girl! Sounds like life is going wonderfully. I have a friend, Nina Smith, who also writes for Flair, do you know her? About 6 ft tall and blond! I actually had a breast reduction almost 2 years ago now and I am so glad I did it! It is your body, and I think you should do what makes you happy!

I wondered where you had gone! Glad to have you back!

I always said the only plastic suregery I would ever consider is a boob lift. I swear my girls came in saggy! NOT cool! Good for you doing something for yourself!

Yay, welcome back!! And congrats on the two new jobs. ;) I think any plastic surgery a person wants, they should get--within reason of course. lol.
