Whirlwind!

Good morning you guys!  I hope all of yall had amazing weekends!  Ours went by in a complete whirlwind - It was insane!  Fun of course, but insane.  I will try to give you a brief run through:

friday

parents got into town around 7ish

went to fish daddies for dinner

met up with our friends at murphy's law

took mommy to her first, ever northgate trip

closed down the bars

mom made me drop peanuts all in the couch

bed time

saturday

went and picked up our race packets

met our friends at boston's to watch a little aggie basketball

headed to the aggie baseball game

bought some energy jelly beans from acadamey for the race

ate dinner at ninfa's

in bed early to prepare for race day

sunday

up at 5:20am

started my 1/2 marathon at 7:00am

parents and bret started their 5k at 7:15am

ate a pb&j after finishing

cheered ivonne and jennifer on

took lots of pictureswent to cracker barrel with rents and the cabezas family

parents headed back to longview

andrea came over to watch the mighty ducks and work on a class project

sleeeeeeeep

I must say, I was very proud of my family, my friends and myself with our race times and efforts!

I set a goal for myself to beat my previous time of 2:08 and I would say I managed to do that.

I have been asked for a house update so here it is: 

Bret and I have decided to move forward on a house in College Station. We signed the updated pages to the offer contract and they have been sent to the relator who is showing the house. The seller's know the contract is coming and there should not be any more counter offers or issues with the contract at this point. I am saying this with crossed fingers of course.

Once the seller's sign the paperwork they will send it back to Lisa (our realtor) - She will then date the paperwork and starting the next day we will have 20 days to get our inspections completed on the property. If the inspections come back with no problems then we will move forward with the contract. Our proposed closing date is set for Friday, May 21st. After that I believe we have 60 days to move in :)

So keep our little wanna-be house in yalls thoughts and let's all pray that the inspections go ok, paperwork goes ok, and that this will be mine and Bret's new home!

the house is currently occupied but as soon as I can get better pictures, I will!
