Southwest Beef Stroganoff
ingredients
1 lb hamburger meat
1 pkg egg noodles
1 pkg taco seasoning
1 Cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 8oz tub cream cheese
1/2 Cup water
directions
prepare egg noodles as instructed
brown hamburger meat
drain grease
add taco seasoning and water
cook 1-2 minutes
add cheddar and cream cheese
stir till cheese is melted
toss with egg noodles and serve
Just FYI, I buy everything reduced fat/low fat as I possibly can so for me all the cheese was reduced and the meat was extra lean. Still tastes great! (to me, had yall seen Bret's face you guys would be scared to try!)
Also, the original recipe called for a small can of corn. If you would like to add corn, mix it in when you add the water and taco seasoning. For an extra kick, I think adding some rotel might be yummy too!
Anyways, I am sitting here chowing down on my food since I just ran 8 miles with Jennifer and Ivonne and I might be going back for seconds!
Hope you lovely ladies are having a blessed Sunday!

YUM! That sounds so good! I love anything that even resembles Mexican food! Thanks for sharing the recipe!
mmm, sounds yummy! Nick and I make Hamburger Helper Stroganoff, and while I'm sure it's not nearly as good as your homemade stroganoff, I still love it! Maybe someday I'll try to make a homemade version.
That does sound good! I miss all my low-fat/low-sodium products! I never really noticed much loss in taste once we switched over.
Ummmm, this sounds AWESOME! Thanks for sharing the recipe! We're always looking for something delish, and super easy... because I am definitely no cook ;)
