And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, and who have been called according to his purpose.
So, today is FRIDAY! Yippee! I have been ready for this week to be over from the moment it began I believe, ha. How sad is that? I find myself getting upset sometimes when I wish time would speed up. Why on Earth am I wishing my life away? Instead, we should all be saying SLOW DOWN World. Let me stop and enjoy each and every day. But, anyways, I have been waiting for the weekend so I can get some rest! My Friday night, all day Saturday class last weekend was seriously exhausting and I have not quite recovered just yet. But no fear, the weekend is almost here! I can see Saturday in my grasp and my butt is going to be nice and happy on the couch. Thank goodness I don't have that Saturday class EVERY weekend or I might just not make it out alive!
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, and who have been called according to his purpose.
Anybody excited about the Grammy's this weekend?! I think they are going to be super fun and a great end to the weekend. I love a good show and I think we have so many amazing artists out there right now that it is going to be one of the best years yet! To follow up on my post reagarding J.D. Salinger; For those of you who never read Catcher in the Rye you really should grab a copy. It is a classic and worth taking the time for. J.D. Salinger had a different style of writing, especially for the early 1950s and the language of the book really is powerful. I fully believe, if you have not read this book, you will fall in love with Holden and his own sense of humor and truely feel for him as he tries to discover himself. To me, that is what Catcher in the Rye allows all its readers to reflect on. Our own self worth. Our own missions and goals and desires in life.
Among other things, you'll find that you're not the first person who was ever confused and frightened and even sickened by human behavior. You're by no means alone on that score, you'll be excited and stimulated to know. Many, many men have been just as troubled morally and spiritually as you are right now. Happily, some of them kept records of their troubles. You'll learn from them - if you want to. Just as someday, if you have something to offer, someone will learn something from you. It's a beautiful reciprocal arrangement. And it isn't education. It's history. It's poetry.
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, and who have been called according to his purpose.

I'm the same way...I always want the day/week to hurry by but should definitely be taking each day in!
Have a great and relaxing weekend! :)
You never know, they may just be taking a while to decide. Never say never!
I completely agree with you on regretting wishing that time will fly by. I do that EVERY MONDAY. Wishing, hoping for Friday...and then I realize, I just wishing for my time to fly by. And try to remind myself to live for the now...not the later.
Have a fabulous weekend lovey
God works in mysterious ways... just hang in there!
These past couple of months have really made me think how precious each day is and that I need to quit wishing them away!
If it helps-I was rejected from what I thought was my dream job about 2 months before I landed the one I have now-and I am SO incredibly grateful for that rejection now. Hang in there, I know your 100% dream job will come to you. Hugs!
I'm sorry you haven't heard from Texas A&M, but they could just be taking their time with a decision.
I'm so guilty of wishing for the future rather than enjoying the present. I really need to work on that. I've heard people are happiest when they stay in the here and now.
Sending good thoughts your way! I am so excited for the Grammys! Have a great weekened!
