How's that for busy?! Now, let me back track and comment on some of the more important things I mentioned.

A) My interview on Friday.  First, thank you all so very much for all the thoughts and prayers you guys sent my way.  I believe my interview went really well and if it turns out that I don't get the job, I will have no regrets which, in the end, that's all I can really ask for.  My interview lasted an hour.  I was in a room with four women from the office and they all took turns asking me situational questions from a two page (front and back) list.  They were pretty intense to tell you the truth but I felt prepared, answered their questions to the best of my ability and I feel I got positive feedback.  The last question, always my favorite (enter sarcasm here please) "Tell me three words that you feel describe you."  I went with three words that I don't believe I have used before.  Normally I throw out 'organized' and that type of stuff.  This time I said 1) Passionate, 2) Dedicated and 3) Imperfect.  We will see how that works out for me, Ha!  They did tell me they will be making an offer at the end of this coming week so luckily, I will not have to wait long to get the results.  It is comforting to me though that if they do not choose me, it is because God has a bigger plan for me and my life.

B) School.  Wow.  Intense? Yes.  Amazing? YES!  I still have one more class to go to for the first time this coming Monday but so far my two profs I have had are fantastic! It is such a different experience from my online classes and I really am in awe at not only the brillance of my professors but of my classmates as well.  All the different cultures, backgrounds and experiences we are coming together with is really amazing.  Our conversations amaze me and everyone really is so super nice, funny, helpful and they really are good people.  I am excited about this semester already.  Don't get me wrong... It is going to be a LOT of work. A LOT. But, since I am excited about what I am going to be doing I know I will enjoy the challenge versus dreading it!

And check out the view from my classroom:

Hello pretty Academic Building.
Hello Kyle Field in the background.
love it.

C) New email address:  Katie.Mathis@hotmail.com
If you ever want to email me or talk to me outside of the blogging world feel free to email me! If you ever think you will be in the College Station area, email me and we will go to lunch/dinner or just hang out!

D) My wonderful loving husband made it home in one piece - While I was at school all.day.saturday. he got to rest, catch up on 24 and hang out with some guy friends.  I believe he enjoyed the time to unwind in the way he wanted to :)

E) Super exciting news... My brother and sister-in-law, Mark and Summer are PREGNANT!  When I got home Friday I was told by my mother-in-love to check the mail, so I did, and Mark and Summer had sent us a letter saying Baby Mathis would be meeting us in August!  August 27th is the official due date and I cannot wait to meet the new baby Mathis and add to our family!

So, congrats to Mark & Summer, Brock & Taylor!  Bret and I are very excited about this new adventure for you guys and look forward to being the best Aunt and Uncle possible!!
Yeah!

You are a busy girl! Wow! I'm impressed that you get up at 4:40am to work out- that's awesome! I need to get motivated again! I'll be anxious to hear if you get the job or not- love your attitude about it- its in the Lord's hands and that's so comforting.
