Weekend Wrap-up on this Friday!!

Hello, hello my lovely BBs!
How's life today? Fabulous? Wonderfully amazing?
Glad to hear it!
It's Friday! Yes, FRIDAY, I said it.
Friday for me anways!
Yippee Skippy, the weather is nippy, the turkey is coming along with some running!
Has anyone had the Kashi, TLC Pumpkin Pie Fruit & Grain bar?
Eating it now.  Not too shabby.
It's no Starbucks Pumpkin Loaf but eh, whatcha gonna do?
Moving on...

This past weekend was a very fun, friend filled, fantastically firey, good time.
friday
After work, Bret and I headed to the Tap to meet our friends, Kelly and David for an after work beer or two.  We sat outside on the porch - where I froze - and enjoyed some good laughs.
Bret and I then met Jennifer, Robert and baby Maddie up at Ninfa's - can we all say YUM - for some wonderful company and amazing Mexican food.
We headed home afterwards where Bret and I decided to watch Twilight to get ready for New Moon on Sunday.
I feel asleep on the couch not even half way through it.
I rock.
Our cousing Hannah came to join us after midnight yell
I slept through the whole ordeal.

saturday
Bright and early, surprise surprise, I was in the gym getting a good two hour workout in.
We got miss Hannah up, got ready, Bret got us donuts and then our Uncle Kelly, Granddad and their friend Mike and his son Dylan all arrived for the game.
After some Aggie apparel shopping, we all headed to tailgate.
The group went on to watch Texas A&M "beat the hell outta" Baylor while I went to Wings n More with some of the tailgate crew.
Back to tailgate I went - To Northgate we all traveled.
Had some food at the Dixie Chicken, had some drinks at Logans.
Called it a night.
Yawn

sunday
Diane was over at the house in the morning spending some quality time with me while Bret slept.
Her and I went and got Craig about 12:30pm from church and the three of us headed to Fish Daddy's for lunch. Yummy fish tacos.  Man I love food.
We dropped Craig off with Bret and Diane and I went shopping for Christmas gifts!
Met Bret at the movies to see New Moon - I very much loved the movie.
Got home, wrapped gifts, Diane left me, I went to bed.

monday
I was feeling crummy yesterday, something that followed me from the weekend so I decided to take it easy and stay home.  Got another migraine, invested in some excedrine, life is better now.
Made Bret some Rice Krispie treats
packed for this week
ate me some soup
slept
and now here I am... On a gorgeous and windy like no other Tuesday!

Pictures, Pictures, Pictures!
What would a post be without pictures?!

Over the weekend, or at some point, the lovely Risley over at the Adventures of the Wilkinson, tagged me in a post of her's called "10 Things"

Here is how it works:
darn those rules
the man always keeping us down.
List 10 things that make you happy.
(try to do one of those things TODAY!)
Tag 10 bloggers that brighten your day.
Make sure to link back to the person that tagged you!

ten.
Finally, after speaking with AT&T four times yesterday in a window of four hours, my replacement IPhone is coming in the mail (part of my screen stopped working) and they took the $500 charge off of my account that they should have put on there in the first place!  This makes me very happy. Very.

nine.
It's Friday!  Springtown and Longview, here we come! Turkey and Green Bean Casserole, it's game time.  You better watch out because I will eat you. A lot.
Food + Katie = Happy Katie

I am happy that I got my hair cut and I like it.
Always a plus.

I am happy that I got another two projects turned in for school.  One more to go and I am done with my semester! Yippee!

The Christmas cards I ordered come in today! I cannot wait to get them addressed and sent out.  Happy, happy me. Happy!

Doctors appointment today boo.  BUT, it makes me happy because I get to leave work at 3:15pm for the day.  Sweet.

It is a gorgeous day outside.  Very beautiful.

I painted my nails last night.  I like them.  That makes me happy.

My girlfriend Traci loaned me a James Patterson book for all my Thanksgiving traveling.  I am happy to start reading about this new character.  Should be fun!

There is only one happiness in life.
To love.
And be loved.

I am never a super fan of tagging people, call it laziness, soooo if you would like to tell us ten things that make you happy, have at it my friends!
I would love to read your happy thoughts and maybe it will spark some of my own!

Green Bean Casserole is my absolute favorite. And noone else in my family likes it which leaves more for me. Yum Yum.

Sounds like a fabulous weekend. I especially like the part about Mexican food...my favorite.

Today is my Friday too!! Unfortunately for us, we're leaving after work for an 8 hour drive. So sad! But Starbucks will be in my future. :)

It sounds like you had a fabulous weekend. I'm trying to talk Mr. Potts into an early viewing of New Moon, but I'm sure we're going to wait until at least December in the hopes of not being crushed in a theater.
