wrap up and what not.

Happy Monday everybody! What a lovely day in Texas - Sunshine and crazy heat. I love it.

Quick weekend recap for you guys:

Friday - Relaxed at home after work, met our group of friends up at the Tap for some quality relaxing/fun conversation, went to reserve our tattoo time for Saturday, headed to Northgate to dance the night away at Martini Street.

Saturday - Worked out while B slept, went to Chick-fil-a for lunch, shopped at HEB, hung out by the pool starting around 2:00pm, went to go get the new tattoo about 8:00pm, ate yummy fajitas by the pool afterwards, called it a night at about 11:00pm.

Here's the new tattoo - Bad picture quality (sorry). When the dove has healed it will be white. I am completely in love with my new addition!

Sunday - Got yummy Freebirds for lunch, watched The Tudors, True Blood and Shark Week all day on the couch!! Yeah for Shark Week!

d.a.r. asked her blogging buddies to list 7 personality traits that we posses so I am going to try to take a wack at it. I asked Bret for some help so most of these come from him:

One. Crazy. I am ok with calling myself crazy because I know I am. I can quickly blow up and calm down all in one breath and you never really know how I am going to react to a situation. I have gotten better over the course of my marriage since Bret is the most chill person ever so that's good. But yes, I am crazy and I have no shame!

Two. Overactive. By this I mean I am going, going, going all the time. It is very rare for me just to sit and hang out without doing something. Even on a relaxing Sunday I am doing weights and crunches in front of the T.V., playing on my phone/computer, straightening up things or painting my toe nails. I am never really just sitting and watching T.V.

Three. Loving. This one came from B and I must admit, I do believe I am a pretty loving person. I have always tried to love with my whole heart and not just half way. With my "loving" personality though comes a lot of heart break. Since I feel so strongly about all relationships and friendships, I take it very personally when others do something to hurt me. I really wish I didn't and I have been trying to get better at it but sometimes it is just hard not to be completely upset when the people you love hurt you.

Four. Passionate. Again, this is another one that came from B and it is pretty true. This kind of falls along the line of loving but in this case, it applies to all things. I can become very driven, very quickly, by the littlest of things and the emotions that come along with this are always passionate emotions. For better or for worse, once I form an opinion I will be all for standing by it with the passion it deserves. That being said, I do not force my opinions on others, I just know where I stand and I will believe in it full heartdly.

Five. Honest. This could also be translated into "blunt." Luckily, as I have grown up, I have learned to apply a little bit of a filtering system but if you ask me a question chances are you will get an honest to a fault answer.

Six. Dedicated. Again, this falls in line with Passionate and Loving as well but I am a very dedicated person. To work, school, family and friends, I try to put forth 100% effort at all times. If I said I was going to do something, I will try my best at all costs, if I start a project I am going to finish it and if you ask something of me then chances are I will find out how to get it for you. I do not enjoy people who lie and I feel that when you don't complete something you are only lying to yourself.

Seven. Free Spirit. I love this term. A Free Spirit is defined as "a person with a highly individual or unique attitude, lifestyle, or imagination; nonconformist." I hope this is how the people who know me think of me.

And one to grow on. Religious. I have my beliefs and I know the faith that I live by. I am daily trying to become more of the person I am meant to be and I hope that the older I get the better I become and that I am able to make a positive impression on those around me.
