hmm...

I have a few little things running through my head today - I will discuss them now for you.

  • Michael Jackson is being laid to rest in a $25,000 gold-plated casket. His death, tragic. His music, legendary. His casket, RIDICULOUS. It goes in the dirt people. in the dirt.

  • I am very disturbed today by a conversation that was forced on to me recently. Note: This is more graphic then what I normally write about. I was speaking with an older woman, married, has children and the topic of raising your kids and teaching them things got brought up. Well, before I knew it, this lady was saying to me "Katie, wouldn't you want your daughter to know how to suck a d**k before going out into the world?" EXCUSE ME?! no. not I would not want my daughter to know that. This is something that she plans on teaching her daughter. Now, I really have no intentions on judging her and her parenting skills because to each their own but this conversation was quickly discussed with Bret and I am happy to report that him and I are both not ok with this. Your job as a parent is to protect and control the things about your kids life that you can... as long as possible. I am sorry but no, I do not want my daughter to end up pregnant at 16, that's just not a goal I have set. Thanks anyways though.

  • Totally disgusting... I was at the doctor this morning and they had to take some blood from me. Well, right as the nurse is about to put the needle in my arm, in walks a previous patient, older woman, 70's, 80's, holding her arm with blood streaming out of where they had taken her blood. It was going all down her arm and literally dripping on to the floor. AH! She was apparently on a blood thinner... yuck. Head to the knees and eyes closed. I could not look away fast enough let me tell you. ugh.

  • The newest Harry Potter movie comes out next week - Who is more excited than I am?! Probably nobody because I freely admit to being a loser like that. I smell Harry Potter marathon. that's all I'm saying. it will happen.

  • Is anyone else addicted to sky mall. I love sky mall, I even shop sky mall online. It is awesome and they have great, funny, stupid and ridiculous things on there! For example:
