The Mathis': eight hours to freedom!

I love Friday mornings... well, maybe not as much as I love 5:00pm on Fridays but there is just something so great about knowing it's Friday. The air is different. Happier. Crisp if you will. I love you Friday morning!

Has anybody heard about this yet? A man was killed during the running of the bulls in Spain this year for the first time since 1995. A few things cross my mind in this situation... A) while I bet this is a fantastic event to witness, no thank you, they are wild animals, you never know. B) WOW, it has been 14 years since someone was killed. I would just assume that would be a yearly occurrence. Again, they are wild animals, you never know. C) Has anyone done this? Been to see this event? Were you terrified for your life? I know these people know what they are getting themselves into but for the third time and it still applies, they are wild animals, you never know. D) Tragic. I am sad for this man and his family.

I read today that July 16th marks the 10 year anniversary of the Blair Witch Project. Wow, 10 years already? That movie seriously freaked me out when I saw it in theaters. I didn't believe that it was real but driving to my parents house you have to go down a two lane very dark road that is covered by trees so driving home that night I drove with the lights on in my car. Made me feel better at least.

Does anyone watch So You Think You Can Dance - I was raised as a dancer so this show just amazes me. It's always a little bitter sweet at times though because I feel myself analyzing and critiquing the movies and not fully allowing myself just to enjoy the dance. But I very much LOVE the show. I don't ever watch the result shows, not sure why... I am in love with several of the dancers this year, they are all so great. If nobody watches the show then sorry for the ramble. My favorite routine this week was performed by Kayla and Kupono. You can watch the video Here. Kupono was representing addiction and Kayla was trying to break free from the addiction but couldn't get away. It really is a beautiful routine. I hope you enjoy watching it :)

I am probably the biggest nerd, and I am ok with this fact, but I am getting more and more excited about Harry Potter coming out next week! YEAH! I spent a good hour yesterday reading different sites about the new movie and everything that is going to be going on. Completely excited! I will not be going to the premiere midnight showing. I went on opening day once and felt a million years old in comparsion to the rest of the audience. Instead I will be going next Sunday afternoon and I am so happy!

This weekend is sure to be filled with laziness and I am looking forward to every minute! Tonight I believe we are going to an event called "fajitas and ritas" which poses to be a good time. Tomorrow nothing. Sunday I am hoping to go see Public Enemies. I have a friend who saw it this week and said it was really good so, that is my tentative plan for Sunday afternoon. If it doesn't happen oh well, some other time!
