Shred 1
Well, I did the shred video last night for the first time! I completed Level 1 and did not have to stop for a break. I think today though I am going to have to go get some lighter arm weights. I tried to do the arm part with the weights I currently have, which are eight pounds, and I think that was a little too much for me. I don't want to build bulky muscles, rather I just want to tone. So for those of you who are Shredding, what size do yall use? I am thinking 5lb or 3lb. Let me know! So today my right arm is sore from the weights but everything is good and I am enjoying the video! Jillian's big ankle tattoo completely distracted me last night, I kept trying to figure out exactly what it was - I think I have come down to it being an angel. Who knows! I believe I am going to move to Level 2 today. I think since I have been working out for the past four months already that Level 1 didn't kick my butt as much as it was suppose to. I am not too concerned about my arms, I really want my legs to be super sore so I need to find a level that will do that for me! Let me know about yalls weights and I hope everyone is getting over their soreness!

wow, i'm so impressed you didn't have to take a break! the first time i did it i was stopping a lot! granted, i hadn't worked out really hard in years but still!
i'm just finished day 6 of level 1 and i'm thinking of progressing to level 2 because i'm not sore at all anymore. i've been using 3-lb weights which work great for me. 5-lbs are a little too much for me.

I use 3 lb weights as well! Level 2 is much different from level 1. I love the abs exercises in level 1
