Lazy, Hazy Weekend Days

This weekend was filled with a whole lot of n-o-t-h-i-n-g. Friday after we got off work, I went home, changed and then headed to the hospital to see baby Maddie. She is just as cute as ever! She opened her eyes some while I was there and they were beautiful dark blue - I sure hope they stay that color!
Afterwards, I went home, picked up Bret and then him and I went to dinner at Abuelo's. Majority of the time when we go out it is with a group of friends so it was nice to sit down with just him and have a nice dinner. They have the best fresh fruit Sangria so that was yummy and then keeping with the notion of no meat on Fridays I had some scrumptious Shrimp Fajitas! I love Abuelo's and I love Bret so it was a good night!

Saturday we were lazy bums around the house! I got up and made us some waffles after Bret went and got us more milk (and me a diet coke!) After that we watched a lot of TV and continued to be lazy. That afternoon we headed to Best Buy and Barnes & Nobles - Our usual weekend stomping grounds. Bret bought the new 007 on Blue Ray and at BN I bought a book on Jane Austen that is really neat! After that I worked out around the house some - Always fun! That night we were suppose to go bowling with one of our friends from work but we got stood up so I just ended up going to be early :)

Sunday Bret and I went and got donuts for the first time in forever - They were so yummy! Then we spent the rest of the day watching Planet Earth, basketball, eating dinner about 4:00pm, going for a walk, watched Kings, started reading Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix again, I worked out and then hitting the hay!

On a side note: Check out the 11lb Bass my brother, Aaron, caught in Mexico on a fishing trip!

I made you stacked enchiladas last night! So good!!! We made rice and beans to go with them... big mistake! It was way too much food! Ha! Now I know why you only mentioned the enchiladas haha! I'll be making them again :) Thanks!

ps - I love abuelos too!! The hubs like to get the stacked enchiladas w/2 eggs over easy on top. I had to fry an egg last night for his stacked enchiladas just because of that place!
