Mind Numbing Christmas Survey

For those of you that like to read all the little details about my life - Here is a survey I got from another blogger web page to keep the Christmas Merriment alive and going! Happy Holiday!

Let the fun begin!

1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? Well, that honestly depends - If others will wrap for me, usually wrapping paper. If the object is easy enough, like a box, then I can wrap it. If it is something hard to wrap or I just don't feel like it - Bags all the way. (I hate wrapping gifts!)

2. Real tree or Artificial? Artificial - Pre lit!

3. When do you put up the tree? Usually right after Thanksgiving - This year Bret and I put the tree up right before we left for Thanksgiving because he was going to be out of town the first week of December and I didn't want to put the tree up without him.

4. When do you take the tree down? After New Years - then the house looks so plain!

5. Do you like eggnog? Umm.. Depends. I can usually drink some but for the most part it is too sweet for my blood.

6. Favorite gift received as a child? Wow, I am not a 100% sure - I was always blessed enough to receive a lot of really fun gifts! I know I liked new bikes as a child - Sega Game Gear was a huge deal one year.

7. Hardest person to buy for? My mother, without a doubt.

8. Easiest person to buy for? My dad - He likes everything!

9. Do you have a nativity scene? No, sadly not, but I really want one! I am finding though that I am pretty picky. I have looked at several and I haven't just fallen in love with one yet.

10. Mail or email Christmas cards? The Mail! I love sending and receiving Christmas cards! We have gotten so many this year!

11. Worst Christmas gift you ever received? I cannot really think of anything.

12. Favorite Christmas Movie? Miracle of 34th Street and It's a Wonderful Life - I love them both SO much!

13. When do you start shopping for Christmas? Early! I am usually done well before Christmas rolls around.

14. Have you ever re-gifted a Christmas present? Most definitely - Especially if I know someone else would appreciate the gift more than I would.

15. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? Chocolate Covered Cherries

16. Lights on the tree? yes!

17. Favorite Christmas song? Oh I love all Christmas Music - Right now I am in love with Beyonce's version of "Ava Maria" - Or I love Judy Garland's version of "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas"

18. Travel at Christmas or stay home? Lot's of traveling - This year we will head to Springtown first to be with Bret's family and then off to Longview!

19. Can you name all of Santa's reindeer's? Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, Blitzen (is that right?!)

20. Angel on the tree top or a star? Neither - We have a bow on top of our tree. I believe I learned that from my mommy!

21. Open the presents Christmas Eve or morning? Christmas Day - We use to open one on Christmas Eve when we were kids but now all Christmas Day (Whatever day is considered "Christmas Day" that is - it changes when you travel from family to family)

22. Most annoying thing about this time of the year? Crazy drivers - No matter how crazy I think College Station drivers are, Christmas time rolls around and they are just completely insane!

23. Favorite ornament theme or color? I think my taste changes year to year - this year we have a mixture of everything, including Silver and Gold and I really like the way it looks! I really don't like to pick a theme. I just like to have all the ornaments add up from year to year that are special to Bret and I!

24. Favorite for Christmas dinner? I love traditional Christmas dinner - My favorite part is always green bean casserole, deviled eggs, broccoli and cheese casserole, etc. Lately though, with the Camp side of the family we have been having Daddy's hamburgers and hot dogs - which are equally as yummy!

25. What do you want for Christmas this year? Peace on Earth. Well, and maybe to trap my husband under the mistletoe ;)
